Faith and Belief exist.
Faith is defined as the strong belief in god or in doctrines. Belief is the acceptance that a statement is true. Acceptance is giving consent or permission. Faith is a strong belief, which is basically you giving consent that a statement is true. It does not mean the statement is actually true. We should verify statements as best as we can before blindly believing in them. It is not wise to accept something on faith as it may not be true. Many however do this and do not check if the belief has any factual basis.
